Design & Toolmaking
The company supplies precision tools for the manufacture of pressed parts. Typical applications are leadframes, connectors, switches, terminals, battery cases and PCMCIA cases. With over 50 years experience in the design and manufacture of progression tooling, Copeland & Jenkins has successfully combined the traditional skills of the toolmaker with advanced CAD modeling computer systems .

Our modeling systems can take data electronically from customers into our own systems and then onwards into the manufacture of the tool and all its component parts.

Manufacturing Capabilities
Our range of high-speed presses from 25 to 60 tonne means that we can cope with high volume production runs either in piece parts or reel to reel systems. We are uniquely based to offer a truly comprehensive service utilising a wide range of materials we manufacture precision components at high speeds resulting in low cost products and first class quality.

Tool maintenance
Tooling maintenance is crucial to supplying on time parts at the correct quality level. All maintenance and refurbishment of tooling is completed onsite by our trained toolmakers.

Degreasing
In order to satisfy cleanliness specifications we have several vapor degreasing lines onsite, these lines are fully programmable in order to ensure cleaning is conducted in line with customer specification.

Annealing Furnaces
The company has two annealing furnaces onsite to ensure products are stress relieved if specified.

Plating
A close association with approved leading Plating companies enables us to offer fast turn around on all types of plating. I.e. gold, silver, nickel, zinc & passivate etc.
